One day, my mom was cleaning and came across my dad’s old Canon Rebel XTI in the closet. She asked if I wanted to take it, since I had been shooting so much with my iPhone4. I immediately said yes, grabbed the camera, and began teaching myself to shoot. That winter, I took it with me on a trip to New York City and that unlocked the next level.
