Has is an armenian-american photographer & Creative Director

I was born in Yerevan, Armenia and raised in Los Angeles, California. as a proud immigrant and lalien, I am passionate about documenting culture and community, especially through the lens of women and their experiences.

my most recent project Our Divine Roots is a portrait and interview series exploring cultural identity and spirituality of women in nature throughout LOS ANGELES.

I have always been intrigued by human behavior. My curiosity led me to an education in communications, followed by a career in marketing and branding. There, I was drawn to the creative side of my work, gravitating towards photography, writing, AND STORYTELLING. I found the most joy communicating visually, so i left the business side to pursue a photography career and never looked back.

my commercial portfolio includes fashion, beauty, interiors, wellness, motherhood, food & bev, music. my experience behind the lens as well as on the brand side has given me dynamic insight into client needs and creative direction in order to create POWERFUL images.

my visuals aim to capture the space between the truth and a dream state — the vulnerable balance between raw imperfections and celestial details.

i find the most serenity while traveling and being in nature with a film camera. it makes me feel present, grounded, at peace, and interconnected with the universe.

I created demais studio with the intention that my photographs bring an ethereal, existential, and healing energy into your space through fine art prints and luxuriously crafted notecards.

I am based in Los Angeles and available to travel wherever my camera takes me.
