2023: Unblock Artsakh (Nagorno-karabagh)
Have you heard about the ethnic cleansing and genocide of the indigenous #Armenians of #Artsakh (aka Nagorno Karabagh) ? 🇦🇲💔
Last month 〰 120,000 Armenians (including 30,000 children) were forcibly displaced from their ancestral homes which they inhabited/cultivated for 3000 years.
Since December 2022 〰 Azerbaij*n blocked the Lachin Corridor (the only road connecting Artsakh to #Armenia) severely restricting access to electricity, fuel, food, water, medicine, and blocking humanitarian aid.
In January 2023 〰 I joined a peaceful protest with fellow Armenian-Americans in front of the Azerbaij*n consulate in LA demanding that they unblock Artsakh.
The next morning 〰 there were flyers posted across Beverly Hills with hate speech against Armenians (most likely made by an Az*ri who worked in the building). The mayor then addressed the incident with a “no tolerance for hate” response followed by an “investigation” that deemed the posters reflect “freedom of speech” and not hate speech/crime.
Insane.

Last month 〰 after a 10 month blockade, Azerbaij*n broke ceasefire again and launched a full scale attack targeting civilian infrastructures in Artsakh. After 24 hours, the Armenian gov’t surrendered.
In case there was any delusion that #Armenians could hope to live peacefully under Az*ri rule, Az*ri soldiers (terrorists) broke into civilian homes during this time to murder, kidnap, and do unspeakable things to children, women, and elderly in villages across Artsakh … They then proudly posted photos/videos on social media to celebrate these atrocities (where then horrific graphic content gets reshared and somehow promoted and not reported).
No Russian “peacekeepers” or other international powers came to the defense of the indigenous Armenians of Artsakh.
Within two weeks 〰 120,000 Armenian refugees of Artsakh were forcibly displaced to Armenia proper (no international country has offered to take them in). Making it the first time in 3000 years that there are no Armenians in Artsakh.
In case there was any delusion that any international power was trustworthy, Azerbaij*n went on record to pay the United Nations $1M the day before the UN’s conveniently timed post ethnic cleansing “peace mission” to Artsakh. Despite endless existing documentation of Azerbaij*n’s destruction across Artsakh, the UN actually reported “no damage to civilian infrastructure”
Insane.
Dehumanizing.
Where is the outrage towards the Az*ri terrorists?
Where is the outrage towards the UN?
Where is the empathy towards Armenian children?
Where is the humanitarian aid?
Where are the sanctions against Azerbaij*n?
All I see is an abundance of military aid and support to Azerbaij*n while the media reports outrageously inaccurate and harmful stories that aim to confuse people with misinformation.
